A500 Music ......Bringing great live music to The Potteries
Willy Porter
Tittensor Village Hall
Sunday 4th October 2015
When you're a long way from home and it's your birthday, I guess there are worse places to be than in the company of a bunch of enthusiastic 'Stokies', as Willy Porter from Milwaukie recently discovered.
Playing solo in The Midlands for the first time and to a sell out audience, Willy delighted his new found fans with a display of unbelievable guitar skill and some great songs, ranging from the beautiful yet poignant 'Big Yellow Pine', through to the rib ticklingly funny 'Jesus on the Grill'.
Willy is one of those artists that feeds on the positive energy of an audience and pays it back in spades leaving them wanting more.
Playing for just under two hours, Willy made a huge impression on us here in The Potteries and we'd like to think it was a night he won't forget in a hurry either.
