A500 Music ......Bringing great live music to The Potteries
Luke Jackson Trio
Tittensor Village Hall
Sunday 22nd May 2016
Sunday 22nd May saw another great night of music at Tittensor Village Hall with the visit of The Luke Jackson Trio.
Hailing from Canterbury, Luke is one of the fastest rising stars on the so called "Roots" circuit. The maturity of his voice and writing belie his young years and he has deservedly been collecting awards, major nominations and the accolades of his fellow professionals along the way.
Opening the show was local artist Jay Johnson from Silverdale who entertained us with a short set of some very fine original songs and impressive guitar work.

Luke and his cohorts, Andy Sharps and Connor Downs then took to the stage and from the first few acapella bars of "Father's Footsteps", Luke's incredible voice had captured everyone's attention. The boys went on to wow the audience with two sets of fabulous songs, some old, some very new. One of the standout numbers was the cover of Amos Lee's "Windows are rolled down" being played live for only the second time.
With the crowd now totally won over, the trio returned for an encore and closed the night with the help of the 'Tittensor faithful' in singing "On the road"
